I started my career in care in 2006 as a care assistant working part time in the evenings which allowed me to be a stay-at-home mum for my then 2 young children. I gradually started picking up more hours as the children grew and eventually started working in the office as the administrator doing payroll etc. I was then a Recruitment and Training Coordinator and became a Moving and Handling Instructor and Medication Trainer. I am a big advocate of training and love being able to give carer’s the knowledge to provide high quality care and watch them flourish in their career. I have gained various qualifications through the years including my Level 5 Health and Social Care Management and gained a wealth of experience in various roles throughout social care including Recruitment, HR, Training, Deputy Manager and became a registered manager in 2019.
I am looking forward to my role as Registered Manager with Rose Care and bringing the high-quality care to the Norfolk community that Rose Care Suffolk have been providing in Felixstowe and surrounding area’s for 30 years.
