On Saturday 26th July, Rose Care proudly took part in the Felixstowe Carnival 2025, bringing a little fairytale magic to the town’s biggest summer celebration.
This year’s theme invited groups to choose a book, so we dived into the storybook world of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - a timeless classic that everyone recognises and loves.
Our float was transformed into a woodland scene fit for Snow White herself, complete with trees, apples, woodland animals – and of course, Snow White and her seven dwarfs! With help from our team, a few of our lovely clients joined the parade, dressed up and waving to the cheering crowds. Some children also joined in the fun, adding extra energy, excitement and smiles.
The weather was kind - dry and warm enough for everyone to enjoy the festivities, with the rain holding off right until the end. As we moved along the route, there were flocks of spectators lining the streets, clapping and cheering us on as we passed.
It was such a joyful and heartwarming day - not only for those who took part, but for the many clients, carers, friends, and family who came to support and soak up the atmosphere.
At Rose Care, we believe community events like this are the heartbeat of local life. Taking part in the carnival gave us a chance to bring generations together, share laughter, and show that care is also about joy, inclusion, and shared experiences.
We’re so proud of everyone who participated and supported us – thank you for making it a magical day!
